Counselling / Therapy Services

Introduction

Counselling offers a chance to talk about any issues or difficulties that you may have, and helps you find ways to tackle them, so you can bring change in your life; or it’s a space where you can simply explore your thoughts and feelings in more depth.

I hope to make counselling accessible for all. So, sessions are offered via text, email, Zoom, Facetime etc.

We will work using different approaches, including Analytic, Brief or CBT, selected to meet your needs and to equip you with tools to help yourself. We will meet in person or online.

Counselling for Individuals and Couples

Couple Counselling can help you if you and your partner would like to improve communication, or if there is an unresolved conflict between you both and/or if you find the passion between you, needs reigniting.

Stress Management Sessions

These sessions teach you how to better manage your stress. You can have a one-off session or up to 5 sessions.

Length and Frequency of Sessions

Counselling sessions run for an hour. Sessions may run from 30 minutes and upwards for young people.

You can decide how many sessions you would like whether it is for individual, couple or stress management sessions. You might only want 1 session or you might want 12 or less or more.

One-off Sessions

A One-off Session is a session for 1 or 1.5 hours, and together we can problem-solve a particular issue or just help relieve some stress. These sessions can be booked within  two weeks or much sooner if you indicate an emergency need. You can book any amount of one off sessions as over any given period of time.

3-6 sessions

We can tackle issues by developing some insight into issues you may be facing, or ongoing patterns which cause some distress in your life, or that you simply want to change. We will build your strengths to help you address what you want to change as well as exploring solutions.

12 sessions

You may want to develop a deeper insight into patterns or issues, in 12 sessions we can help reinforce your learning through exercises, homework and practice.

Longer term Counselling

When you experience the same problems over years, and you find you are repeating patterns of behaviour and thinking, longer term counselling may be suitable for you. The additional sessions can help build up your self-esteem and confidence to help you change what is holding you back from being your best.
